Hair Loss
The problem of hair loss also known as alopecia areata is a very common issue and is an autoimmune ailment. It has features of continuous loss of hair in single or several areas on the face, scalp, or other parts of the body. It is a very common problem and every other individual in around 50 experiences this problem. In the hair loss issue, the scalp faces the highest damage.
While facing this issue, no mutual symptoms are there, and also the scalp seems normal. In rare conditions, alopecia areata turns out to be more extensive than other forms of issues. In its subtypes, the alopecia totalis leads to a total loss of the scalp hair. Whereas, in the case of alopecia universalis, hair loss occurs in every part of the body hair, like in eyebrows, underarms, eyelashes, and others. - Certain synthetic products or shampoos and hair products with harmful chemicals cause excessive hair fall and relatable issues like baldness.
- Also, accidents or burns and injuries can be the cause of excess hair loss.
- A less efficient diet that lacks protein or other important nutrients for hair growth.
- Certain medical conditions like thyroid, anemia, etc. can be another important reason for this issue.
Round Bald Spots:
Several individuals face certain round spots on the scalp and this condition affects the scalp. Also, it has no major influence on overall body hair. But, some people may experience itchiness or minor pain in these bald areas.
Loose Hairs:
In this condition, the individuals experience loose hairs in high amounts while combing or running hands on the hair. This may also be a result of certain shocks, like emotional or physical. When the hair becomes very thin, this condition has a high chance to occur.
Slow Thinning Of Scalp Hair:
It is the most mutual sign and both males and females suffer from this condition with aging. Males face this issue as they lose hairs from the top of the head and females suffer this on their foreheads.
Ringworm:
Ringworms are round kinds of patches but at the same time, they are itchy. It brings swell up of the scalp, hair breakage, and other similar issues.
Hair Loss in Whole Body:
Several medicines or therapies lead to huge hair loss in the whole body. Like, chemotherapy treatment may lead to this issue but the hair grows back after a period.
There are several ways to reduce hair loss, some of these are:
- Get the correct treatment with the right specialist.
- Using the correct comb.
- Drying the hairs in the right manner.
- Keeping the scalp clean and healthy.
- A wise selection of hair care products.
- Exercise.
- Proper diet.
- Rogaine or Minoxidil can treat hair loss issues and people can purchase these without a prescription.
- Propecia or Finasteride can do similar work and requires a prescription.
- Corticosteroids can also treat hair loss problems.
